Description
“Manta Ray (the last thing the little fish saw)” is part of Turner’s ongoing series about the effect that human greed is having on our oceans. In this case, a manta ray is made of recycled steel that had been used to brace pallets on a cargo ship. The title and positioning of the manta ray are a suggestion that we can be surprised by the dire consequences of our inattention to how we proceed in the world; 42" x 36" x 48" tall (on stand).
