Diane Kurzyna, aka Ruby Re-Usable, is an award-winning mixed recycled media artist. Her work has been shown in exhibitions around the world including Recycled Art Festival in Barcelona, Spain 2010, Bellevue Art Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, Whatcom Museum, Hallie Ford Museum, Museum of Glass, and State Capital Museum.
In addition to her work at matter!, Diane’s artwork can be seen at the Olympia Community Center (City of Olympia portable works collection). She is a member of Northwest Designer Craftsmen, and is on the roster of Washington State Arts Commission teaching artists. Diane has a BA in Environmental Design from Rutgers, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a teacher’s certificate with art endorsement from University of Washington.
Originally from New Jersey, Diane has lived more than half her life in the Pacific Northwest and currently resides in Olympia with her husband, two sons, and two cats. |
